Carol Beauchamp

Integrative Counsellor · NCPS Accredited

Carol is an NCPS-accredited integrative counsellor working with adults in Nuneaton, in person, online and by telephone. Rather than using a rigid, one-size-fits-all model, she draws on person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT and transactional analysis approaches to shape therapy around you as an individual.

Her style is warm, approachable and conversational. She places real emphasis on empathy, genuine listening and helping you feel understood, so that being in therapy with her feels less like a formal clinical appointment and more like an easy, honest conversation with someone firmly in your corner. For anyone who finds the idea of therapy intimidating, that gentle, down-to-earth quality can make all the difference.

Much of Carol's work rests on the idea that many of our emotional struggles grow from unresolved past experiences, and that we can lose sight of what we actually want or need. She helps clients explore how earlier experiences, including childhood, shape adult relationships, behaviours and emotional responses, so that you can recognise the patterns, understand your reactions, and reconnect with yourself.

Her work is reflective and exploratory at heart, while drawing on practical CBT techniques where they help. Together you can build confidence and self-esteem, develop coping strategies, and process difficult experiences safely and at your own pace.
