When we receive your complaint we will acknowledge it within 5 working days and carry out a thorough investigation, aiming to give you a full response within 8 weeks. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can appeal the decision in writing. If the matter needs to be escalated further, you can contact the relevant professional governing body.
Wherever possible, we encourage concerns to be resolved informally. Our aim is to address informal complaints quickly and amicably, through open conversation and, where helpful, mediation.
A formal complaint is any expression of dissatisfaction with our clinic, our staff or our associate practitioners. When we receive a formal complaint, we will acknowledge it in writing within 5 working days and respond with a full explanation within 21 working days. We aim to handle every complaint fairly and sensitively.
We treat all complaints with the same care for confidentiality as everything else we do, and maintain it to the fullest extent possible. In the rare circumstances where confidentiality cannot be maintained, we will let you know.
